First blog post!
So these are my six looks from working at Sue Ryder at the weekend! I've started volunteering here as a stylist to expand my knowledge and up my game a little on social media. Vintage shops are a great place to experiment as a stylist, full of crazy props and funky key pieces. Lets start with the first look, one of my favourites this little zesty number! Absolutely love the neckline on this one, it screams 70's. It's got a slight stripe of lime green and bright yellow. Paired with some pink mules, this is a great one just to throw on. Next up we've got this cute little crop top with beaded detail. Another lovely neckline and the beading on the sleeves really gives it a nice jewelled effect. Works perfect paired with these high waist jeans. Denim and Gingham are major trends this summer so finding little vintage numbers for half the price of designer is great. I love the red gingham top, it has an amazing collar and has a gorgeous zip detail. Paired with a classic denim vintage summer dress and this beaut embossed leather bag! ( I actually bought the smaller version of this bag and I love it!). This next look is my absolute favourite, this cute tennis style look is perfect summer chic. I love the pleated white skirt and striped red shirt combo. The woven bag works perfectly, then i picked a scarf out to match to tie around to finish the look. Couldn't resist taking a few shots with the tennis racket! Last but by no means least, the gingham skirt and white crop shirt. The skirt has a tiny baby blue gingham print on which works really well, and the shape of the skirt is so flattering. The great thing about shopping at vintage places like Sue Ryder is sometimes they up cycle garments, like this shirt, they've turned into a crop top which looks amazing. That's it for this week! Keep checking for updates on my latest finds on the high street! Esme x
